Eddie was the most important person in the building, always helped me! When I was pregnant with my son, Eddie was the best person, helping me and my husband getting through the lobby! Eddie held me up and hugged me when I was in the middle of a contraction , on the way to the hospital!! I will miss EDDIE every time I’m In the building.

My wife Genie and I got to know Eddie 28 years ago when we moved into 5V. His kindness was something we never took for granted. He showed us how to navigate NYC. Eddie was one of those few people you meet in life you can count on absolutely. As the years passed Eddie remained the same kind, thoughtful cheerful man. May his memory be eternal. Love and kindness are the legacy Eddie left.

I lived in the building for most of my life and knew Eddie from the time he started till I moved out two years ago. I am just in shock. He was the heart and soul of the building. Eddie was smart, kind, funny and really great at his job. Everybody loved and respected him. My heart goes out to his wife and family. May he rest in power.

My heart goes out to the family of Eddie Graham. He is a kind, thoughtful and significant part of our family’s lives. My daughter was ten when we moved into the Broadmoor and within three days he had learned our names and apartment number. I was surprised but he brushed I off saying “That’s my job.” It wasn’t just his job though. He looked out for Sachi when she started to come home from school on her own, asked after her when she left for college and shared grandchildren pictures with me after I became a grandmother. He always greeted us kindly when we entered or left. On September 21st I left wearing a wedding dress, he said it was his anniversary too. For the last 22 years we have wished each other happy anniversary. To his family in your time of grief, please know he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. I got to see him a small number of minutes a week but he leaves a giant hole in my heart. You have my sincere sympathies. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
